Meet Khaliq Dansby, better known by his stage name, KHALI. This talented musician hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, and has been making waves with his unique sound and style. After moving to Atlanta with his family at the age of seven, KHALI has been honing his music skills and developing his own sound.

KHALI’s musical journey began in middle school when he picked up the alto saxophone, and he later went on to study jazz theory while attending Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. He has also received instruction from critically acclaimed trumpeter, Mr. Danny Harper.

Not only is KHALI skilled in playing the saxophone, but he is also a talented rapper, songwriter, and performer. He began writing to beats on YouTube and practiced rapping in front of the mirror to perfect his stage presence. He draws inspiration from musical legends such as The Roots and Kendrick Lamar, but his sound is like no other.

Only being surrounded by a few musical family members, Khaliq decided to make a name for himself. He is eager to showcase his musical talent to the world with his first single, “Loss for Words.”
