Similar to his classic sound with a fresh twist, the latest track from O’Rian, “Soul N Butter,” has been gaining the attention of audiences everywhere. The soulful single gives new R&B a refreshing twist, pulling from old-school elements. Working with his engineer to create songs from scratch, O’Rian experiences a rush of melody through his head. Since its release in mid-April of 2021, the independently released project has received exceptional acclaim from fans. Its alluring melodies flow into rhythmic beats paired with smooth vocals, perfect for two-stepping. With both a lovely story and upbeat vibe, O’Rian has created a timeless record allowing anyone to use it as an expression of their love for another.

“Over the past few months, I’ve been writing differently and evolving my sound,” O’Rian explains. “So, with this song and other new music to come, it’s a change in direction from what I’ve put out in the past… I want listeners to just groove, sit back and listen to the words and just pretty much vibe with it. This song, I feel, is made for all generations, young and old.”

He’s been locked in the studio, working with various producers to create exciting new tracks while carefully developing his writing style, taking it to a professional level. He is stoked for the coming year with performances scheduled for the summer as live music returns. There are also plans for him to release visuals for his tracks, which his followers eagerly await.

O’Rian

His name is one with the stars above, and O’Rian always knew he was special, but it took time to fully understand what he was capable of. His gift for music grew from a seed planted at an early age, which blooms more and more as O’Rian continues to grow. Raised in Huntsville, AL, unlike any normal kid, O’Rian felt there was something setting him apart from the rest. Friends and family always noticed his singing which many attributed to O’Rian’s vocally talented father. Teetering on the edge of singing too much, O’Rian performed in the church choir every Sunday, and occasionally he still does. The experience opened his eyes, helping him realize his destiny. In music, O’Rian found alignment.

He gradually developed his voice and branched out into instruments like the piano and percussion. O’Rian felt anxious about taking music professionally until 2017 when he stumbled into songwriting. This unlocked a new path for O’Rian. Talented and original, his unique sound is a blending of elements from pop and R&B. His style delivers a nostalgic vibe, easing listeners in with silky vocals. As “OrianTheArtist” was born, he began releasing soulful singles and melodic EPs such as Elements of Affection and Midnight Therapy. His music is timeless, offering new perspectives on relatable topics.

O’Rian is currently preparing new music for release. He is taking things up a notch, this time and can’t wait for the world to hear what he has in store. Although he can be shy and humorous, O’Rian always wears his heart on his sleeve. Smooth and soulful, audiences can easily relate to his honest lyrics. O’Rian is coming from a place of confidence and self-love, remaining humble in the process.
