Mysterious Vibes and Cryptic Messages from TH3MYSTICMISFIT

Versatile and experiential hip-hop artist TH3MYSTICMISFIT is preparing the release of his new single, “GHOST 111.” First impressions of TH3MYSTICMISFIT quickly set him apart from other artists. His mysterious persona, open-minded lyrics, and childlike behavior bring originality to his work. His music is raw, youthful, and intentionally created to remind listeners to keep their inner child alive through self-expression. With cryptic symbolism through wordplay and sound synchronization through cadence, TH3MYSTICMISFIT is stepping up his game.

Music has always intrigued TH3MYSTICMISFIT. As a child, he learned performance arts in grade school and eventually guitar in high school. He began writing his own songs and getting beats from his brother and other producers on YouTube about five years ago. His musical experience developed gradually from brief periods of study with the violin, piano, clarinet, baritone saxophone, and guitar. Although this wasn’t always the dream for TH3MYSICMISFIT, he made a pivotal decision at age 19 after working on a farm for an extended amount of time. Every day he was in his head while working, daydreaming about other options. Instead of following some acquaintances to Dixie State to study Business and Marketing, he came up with the collective name, Godly Untamable Youth, acquired some basic studio equipment, and started pursuing the creative path he is blazing now.

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, TH3MYSTICMISFIT is currently based in the North Bay Area of California. The most prominent artists around him have had the greatest influence on his work. Local creatives like Zenkarda, Sophia Rayne, Marelle, T3RU, and Un$poken have all made an impact on his music. Outside of his collective, artists such as Flatbush Zombies, Kid Cudi, Beam, and Russ are ones he listens to on the regular. These artists continue to inspire him with their storytelling, approach to culture, mindsets, and belief systems. TH3MYSTICMISFIT represents a collaboration of creative artists known as the Godly Untamable Youth. The environment they have built for each other in the studio or while hosting backyard shows is allowing them to propel forward into the industry. They are pursuing their creative endeavors freely and without judgment while simultaneously becoming active voices in their community.

Starting the year strong, TH3MYSTICMISFIT dropped the music video for his song, “FUNK,” on New Years Day of 2021. The release is his favorite visual execution so far and is a teaser for his upcoming EP, FUNK. TH3MYSTICMISFIT recently performed at the Camp Tikkun Olam Festival hosted by Trap Home Productions on New Years, and before that was hosting backyard shows and pop ups at a local skatepark in collaboration with his clothing line, YuniVersusAll. TH3MYSTICMISFIT has released a total of 3 EP’s so far, with no signs of slowing down. He plans to drop one single each week throughout the year. TH3MYSTICMISFIT has pop-up shows lined up already and plans for an undetermined festival showcase in March for the solstice.

His latest single, “GHOST 111,” is ominous, cryptic, and incredibly catchy. After a year of deep focus on writing and vocal expression throughout 2020, “GHOST 111,” visually and sonically sets a new standard for his craft.

“I’ve always kept it a little edgy,” TH3MYSTICMISFIT says. “With rock metal influenced songs like ‘Chamomil3t3ars’ and ‘I AM A FLAM3,’ ‘GHOST 111’ brings back a familiar yet mysterious side of myself. A surprise dose for my listeners after releasing a spree of uplifting, mantra-like songs this past month.”

The track is about magical concepts and “following the white rabbit.” TH3MYSTICMISFIT is fascinated by the synchronization of numbers on clocks, dates, and addresses. This song follows a never-ending theme of chasing the mystery, going with the moment, and trusting intuition.

“Even before I wrote this song I glanced at the time and it was 1:11, so I kinda geeked to myself and chose the title and wrote the song in its fullness.”

TH3MYSICMISFIT is picking up momentum with this new song, “GHOST 111,” which will also include the release of a stellar music video. He is following that up with the FUNK EP to drop shortly after.
