Up-and-coming artist, Chase Kordell is delivering testimony music to the world. His lyrics are based on his own experiences and the many truths revealed to him. His tracks are layered with rhythmic vocals, low melodies, and unapologetic swagger. Chase Kordell is a force of energy making big waves in the music scene.

Based in Houston, Texas, Kordell says God has influenced his work the most.

“When I write a verse or hook, the experience is more out of body and spiritual,” he explains. “My intention is always to bring God the glory first, so that’s where I draw my inspirations from.”

In his youth, Chase Kordell looked up to his father, a dedicated worship leader. He admired his father’s ability to stand in front of a crowd, using his voice to create a beautiful atmosphere. “He will always be my favorite artist,” Kordell says, “and someone whom I want to make proud through my own musical endeavors. Music is in my blood because of him.”

Motivated to pursue a career in music, Kordell wrote his first rap at age twelve, but it took a couple of years for him to start recording and releasing music. He’s spent the last eight years crafting his own style of hip-hop and rap, encouraged by the support of fans.

His creativity is what sets him apart from other artists. While others may share a commonplace sound, Chase Kordell produces music that is totally unique. You can immediately hear the difference as soon as you press play on any of his original tracks.

“I learned from studying artists like Nas, Kendrick, and Ab-Soul,” Kordell says. “Even mimicking some of their cadences in my earlier years to get a feel for what true hip-hop should sound like lyrically.”

Earlier this year, he completed and released the album, “Sadaam!” to major digital platforms.

“It was a process to complete it by myself,” Kordell admits, “but after all the work I put into it, to see it come to life means more to me than anything else.”

Chase Kordell thrives on being able to say the things that come to him in the realm of creation. The most important aspect of his work is the freedom it gives him. His musical career was built on the foundation of freedom in independence, the ability to remain aligned to his inner truth, and not conform to the demands of the mainstream agenda.
